Utility Coordinator – EV Charging | Commercial Solar | Renewable Energy

Vikta Energy is an Authorized Tesla Energy Partner specializing in Tesla Superchargers (DC Fast Charging), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and commercial & residential solar EPC projects nationwide.

We're looking for a highly organized Utility Coordinator to help keep our projects moving by managing utility service requests, coordinating with power companies, and ensuring our EV charging and renewable energy projects are energized on schedule.

What You'll Do

As our Utility Coordinator, you'll serve as the primary point of contact between Vikta Energy, utility companies, and project teams to ensure electrical service is delivered on time for each project.

Responsibilities include:

• Submit and manage electrical service applications with utility providers nationwide
• Track utility service requests, energization schedules, and project milestones
• Coordinate directly with utility engineers, project managers, permitting agencies, and field operations
• Schedule utility inspections, meter installations, and service energizations
• Review utility drawings and electrical documentation for project accuracy
• Monitor utility timelines and proactively resolve delays or conflicts
• Process utility invoices and assist with tracking utility-related costs
• Maintain organized project documentation and utility records
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of experience in utility coordination, construction administration, project coordination, or similar roles
• Experience working with electric utilities or commercial construction projects preferred
• Understanding of electrical service applications, utility coordination, or permitting processes
• Ability to read construction plans or electrical drawings is a plus
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
• Comfortable managing multiple projects at once
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with Procore, Smartsheet, or similar construction software is a plus
