Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled General Liability/Professional Liability Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation defense to join our growing team. This position involves handling a diverse caseload of general liability and professional liability matters, offering the opportunity to engage in challenging and rewarding work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
* Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
* Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other court documents.
* Provide strategic legal counsel and guidance to clients on liability matters.
* Collaborate with clients, experts, and other team members to develop case strategies.
* Ensure timely and effective communication with clients, keeping them informed throughout the litigation process.
Qualifications:
* Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
* Active membership in good standing with the CA Bar.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability and/or professional liability litigation or related practices preferred.
* Strong litigation skills, including deposition, motion practice, and trial preparation experience.
* Exceptional legal research, analytical, and writing skills.
* Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
* Team-oriented with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
